Dragonfly HAL Hau'oli DOB 5/27/2016 Buckskin Polled
Sire: Dragonfly HFX Hallelujah (GCH Dawnland Tabby's Halifax ++B VEE 88 x SG Twincreeks AH Chiaroscuro 3*D VEEE 90 )
Dam: Dragonfly IH Jubilation 1*M +EVV 86 (Promisedland Incredible Hunk *S +B x Dragonfly RY Jubilee +V+V 84)
Hau'oli means happy and boy are we happy that this very feminine and elegant doe has joined the Kahalawai herd. Prefers to be in your shirt pocket whenever possible and practices daily for her second career as an opera singer. You know, just in case this whole dairy goat thing does not work out.
Oli is growing into a long necked and long bodied doe with a lovely front end assembly and well sprung foreribs. She is smoothly blended and glides around the pasture like some kind of supermodel. Overachiever that she is, she delivered four perfect kids the first time she freshened. Fed them all by herself, too, so I don't think she has to worry about that second career.
Really need to get some updated pictures of this beauty.

Kahalawai B Ladron del Corazon 'Cora' DOB 2/14/2017 Black
Sire: Castle Rock Brandegee's Sage *B (Castle Rock Clark's Nutcracker *B +VV 85 x GCH Castle Rock Sarafina 2*M EEEE 92)
Dam: Gryphon SI La Paloma Blanca (Desertnanny BE Smirnoff Ice *B x Gryphon ST Sweet Emotion) Pretty little Cora arrived on Valentine's Day, sliding into the world dressed in black, with a white heart stamped on her side. She was the last triplet to arrive, so tiny we almost missed her, and my heart was hers before she was dry. Tiny Cora went everywhere I did for the first few weeks, wrapping us all around her little hooves as she sweetly stole hearts of all sizes.
Ladron del Corazon. Heart Thief. Some goats will tell you their name, all you have to do is listen.
Cora is a slow maturing doe who is going to need time to gain body capacity. She is long bodied with well sprung ribs, a wide loin, and shows strength of brisket. She freshened with a single buckling so her udder capacity is limited but well attached, nicely shaped, and easy to milk.
Castle Rock Karma Revero DOB March 5, 2017 Solid Copper, Powdered Sugar Ears
Sire: Castle Rock Harvest Moon*S ++*B (Rosasharn TL Sitka Spruce *S ++*B x SGCH Castle Rock Once Ina Blue Moon 2*D VVEV 86)
Dam: Castle Rock Mahindra Reva Halo EVEE 91 (Castle Rock Cleveland Sage +*B *S x GCH CRF Castle Rock Tesla 2*M 5*D VVEE 89)
Ro is a perfect doll-happy, cooperative, and willing-and I am so happy she is here. She has good width throughout and freshened with a high, wide, and pliable udder with nicely sized teats.
Ro's sire, Harvest Moon, has produced many fine offspring, including repeat top ten breed leaders Castle Rock Lotus (who produced 1,620 pounds of milk during her 2017 lactation) and is owned by Curbstone Valley; and Castle Rock Lady Rainicorn who is owned by Dog Island Farm. Ro shows every intention of following in their hoofprints. Despite freshening with a single buckling, she produced over three pounds of milk on her first test at just two weeks fresh. #lovemyprincessgoat
If your new goat has to be named after an electric car then you can't do much better than Karma Revero.
Sire: Castle Rock Harvest Moon *S ++*B (Rosasharn TL Sitka Spruce *S ++*B x SGCH Castle Rock Once Ina Blue Moon 2*D VVEV 86)
Dam: CH Castle Rock Leucosia EEEE 91 (Castle Rock Cleveland Sage +*B *S x GCH CRF Castle Rock Siren Song 3*D VEEE 90)
Xio is so pretty that she looks like she stepped right out of a fairytale. She is just as happy, as sweet, and as willing as Ro, which is no surprise since they share not only a sire, but also a maternal grandsire.
She is a very long bodied doe who is still growing into her frame. She is easy to hand milk but kidded as a yearling so I dried her off early to give her time to grow.
Thelxiope is named after one of the Greek sirens, not a rare spiny arthropod. She is a pretty little thing, and practices luring me away from my chores to spend time with her on a daily basis. Thel-z-`o-pay. And you thought Hawaiian names were hard to pronounce.
Sire: Dragonfly SOL Capriccio (Algedi Farm MH Solaris *S +*B x SG ARMCH Dragonfly Here for the Party *D, E, VEEE 90) Dam: Dragonfly ARG Sirona VEEE 90 (Dragonfly HFX Aragorn +*B x Dragonfly HFX Ishtar ++-VV 85)
This one wasn't supposed to be mine but I'm sure glad it worked out! Dam mammary 'E', Sires Dam mammary 'E', Sire's GDam mammary 'E'.
Little Lili delivered a beautiful doeling at just 11 months.. She claims immaculate conception. Hmmmm. I do not recommend that you breed your does so young. We managed to dodge a bullet this time but things do not always turn out so well.
Lili is growing into a perfectly beautiful little doe, but she is tiny and will not be bred to kid this year.
